Here is a small update on some recent changes amongst the FIPFA Executive Board. 
Director of Sport

FIPFA Executive Board has received the resignation of Director of Sport, Sam Bull.  Sam informed FIPFA that he would stand down from his position due to personal reasons with changes in his circumstances.

The FIPFA Executive Board would like to place on record our thanks to Sam who took in this position in 2017.  Sam had been involved in EPFA prior to taking on this role with FIPFA.
 
The Executive Board agreed that the search for a replacement will be needed in the next few months and they would like to receive expressions of interest from any interested party.  FIPFA is looking to appoint a Director of Sport to hold the position until the 2020 FIPFA Congress, when this role would be put to the membership for election.

The role is responsible for all sport elements of FIPFA.  He or she will have a position on FIPFA Executive Board and will work with the appointed officers in the department covering referees, technical regulations, competitions, classification, and anti-doping.

 FIPFA Executive Board will make the appointment based on all applications received by 1st September 2019.  Applicants are required to submit a C.V. with cover letter explaining how they would deliver the role.

Vice President

FIPFA  Executive Board has received the resignation of Vice President, Nicolas Dubes.  Nico spoke with FIPFA explaining he would stand down from his position with immediate effect due to personal reasons. 

The FIPFA  Executive Board would like to place on record our thanks to Nico who took up the position in 2018.  Nico had been involved in the sports department of FIPFA since 2012 and was previously the President of EPFA.
 
This position is due for election at the 2019 Congress to fall in line with the elections process. 

Therefore, FIPFA will look to call for applications in line with the FIPFA Constitution and nominations for this position will need to be submitted by a member nation. 

More information will come out to members when 2019 Congress dates are confirmed.
