Powerchair Football arrived in Argentina on 2012 thanks to Lorena and Mariano Zegarelli. It grew really quickly and by mid 2013 there were 4 teams already: Buenos Aires, Rosario, Córdoba and Mar del Plata.
On December 2013 all them four played among each other on the First National Cup with Uruguay as guest country.
PARTICIPATIONS IN INTERNATIONAL EVENTS AND RESULTS
In 2014 the first Powerchair National Team ever travelled to Rio de Janeiro to play on an international cup: Mundialito. Although results were not that good, they kept the spirit up and kept on training!
In 2016, the National Team played the South American Cup as locals and, after hard work and training, they get the Cup to stay at home.
In July 2017 in Kissimmee, FL, USA, we got the 7th position (on 10 countries), in our first FIPFA World Cup!
