FIPFA and the Americas Zone are pleased to announce the that the 2010 Americas Champions Cup (ACC) will be held in Burnaby, British Columbia on October 8-11, 2010. Host association, Sportability BC – Powersoccer has hosted many regional, national and international competitions and is a pioneer in the development of power soccer in the western hemisphere. Competition dates are October 10-11 and will be preceded by a classification training day on October 8 and athlete classification on October 9.

The ACC is a competition between the top club teams in the Americas Zone (currently Canada and the USA). Teams qualify through designated competitions in their respective countries. While there is no guarantee of a slot, last year’s champions, Atlanta Synergy, is hopeful of having the opportunity to defend their title and last year’s top finishing Canadian team, Vancouver Lightning, took on a beefed up competition schedule this year and is looking to challenge for ACC supremacy.
